  Learn to be in control of
a horse and carriage!
   
  An exciting new program offered by the Handi Kids Therapeutic Riding Center, the Carriage Driving Program was designed as a unique opportunity for students who desire an alternative equestrian sport. Carriage driving opens a new world to those who are unable or who are uncomfortable participating in mounted riding lessons.
   
 

The program offers students the rewards of interaction and control of a pony while driving from a carriage seat.  Therapeutic Driving is all about imparting knowledge of safety, horses, harnessing, and driving skills to children and adults using teamwork. 
   
  A 45-minute private lesson consists of learning to drive a miniature horse as well as grooming and harnessing. An instructor is present in the cart at all times.
