  Handi Kids relies on the generosity of corporations, foundations and individuals to fund our programs.  Your support allows us to create and provide programs that develop essential life skills for children with disabilities.  Our Wish List is published regularly highlighting items needed for camp programs, camp general needs, and the Therapeutic Riding Center.
   
  How Can I Help?
  There are several ways to support Handi Kids through our Wish List Program:
  • Donate an item listed below on our current wish list
  • Help us to locate donors or donations of wish list items
  • Help us to obtain discounts for wish list items
Consider a general gift-card donation so that we may purchase wish list items directly

  Wish List Items Needed For Our Camp Programs
and General Camp Needs:
   
  (remember, donating a gift card to a store selling any of these items is a
great way to help Handi Kids obtain needed items)
   
 
Item 1: New Microwave Oven (or perhaps a gift card to Best Buy so that we may purchase directly)
   
Item 2: New computer equipment, including desktops and laptops (although we absolutely appreciate offers of used/older computer equipment, the kids are in need of new/current equipment.)
   
Item 3: New color ink-jet printers for our computer learning program
   
Item 4: Retractable Awning (motorized)
   
Item 5: Shade Tent (similar to an Easy-Up brand)
   
Item 6: Digital Camcorder
   
Item 7: Label Maker  (or perhaps a gift card to Staples so that we by purchase directly)
   
   
  Wish List Items Needed For Our Therapeutic Riding Center:
   
 
Item 1: Wooden Dog House. Our puppies need a warm home!
   
Item 2: New electric fence charger
   
Item 3: Water buckets, regular and heated
   
Item 4: New or nearly new riding helmets, all sizes
   
Item 5: Dressage saddle with prominent knee/thigh blocks
   
Item 6: Fly masks with ears
   
Item 7: Equine fly sheets with neck covers
   
Item 8: Lightweight waterproof horse blankets in assorted sizes
   
Item 9: Manure Spreader
   
Item 10: Gift card to Dover Saddlery so that we may purchase equestrian items
   
Item 11: Outdoor tools (corn brooms, manure forks, wheelbarrows, gardening tools) or a gift card to Home Depot
   
Item 12: Gas powered weed-wacker (another great Home Depot gift card item!)
   
Item 13: Heavy duty or commercial-grade washing machine
   
Item 14: Flowering plants in pots for the entrance to the riding center, hanging and/or potted
